How do I prepare my athlete for a sports photo session?Plan for your photo session like you plan for a game or tournament. We ask that each athlete be in full uniform, including shoes and any other accessory or equipment they use for their sport. (Examples: Balls, bats, rackets, knee pads, helmets, gloves, pads, shin guards, etc...) ***NOTE*** You should always check with your coach or team photo organizer to confirm uniform or jersey colors if your team has multiple uniforms.
-
How many photos do you take of each athlete?Club & School Sports: We take a minimum of 2 photos per athlete; 1 for their individual portrait pose (or headshot) and 1 for their team pose. Senior Sports Athletes and Varsity Teams: In addition to their individual portrait pose (or headshot) and team pose used to create posters, team banners, and photo packages, we take 1-2 additional photos per senior and varsity athlete so that we can create senior banners and provide your high school with scoreboard headshots and additional photos for season booklets, etc... Wisconsin Blaze Athletes: In addition to the 2 photos we take for the individual portrait pose (or headshot) and team pose to create photo packages, we take 3 additional photos specifically for the Wisconsin Blaze Media & Marketing programs. These photos are specifically used to celebrate athlete achievements and to support recruiting efforts for athletes. Many of the extra poses are action shots or just simple fun poses and are not meant to be used for portrait packages or orders. **Because each athlete is photographed individually and is "one-on-one" with a photographer, we want your athlete to have the best experience and the best expression possible. With that in mind, we may take more photos to achieve the best photo possible.
-
I'm not ordering, do I have to have my athlete's photo taken? There is no cost or obligation to order. Our goal is to celebrate all the players on your athlete's team and within the team composite. With that, we ask that all of the athletes be photographed.
-
Can I see my athlete's photos before I order? Where do I see my athlete's photos?Due to the volume of athlete's we photograph annually and the graphics design work involved for each team, we do not proof individual photos. This enables us to work more efficiently to deliver your photo packages. If you need to see a proof of your athlete's photos before ordering, you can make an appointment to view the photos at the studio. Paid orders are our first priority. Appointments will be made available after orders have been processed and the first round of orders has been delivered to your club or team. **Appointments for proofing may be up to 2-3 weeks after the initial photo session is completed. **Proofs must be viewed in person and digital proofs are not available.

What is the difference between a Composite Team Photo and a Traditional Team Photo?EXAMPLE COMPOSITE Composite Team Photo: A composite team photo is a modern take on traditional team photos that combines individual photos of players and/or coaches into a single image to create a team photo. Benefits Include: The photographer is one-on-one with your athlete working with them to get the best possible expression and photo outcome. If your athlete is sick or has a scheduling conflict, it is easy to photograph a make-up and you'll never know they weren't there at the original session. Space! When gym time and space can be limited and wind, weather and lighting outside is unpredictable & often not ideal, we only need a small space to work in. We control the lighting and we create the background and environment for a fun composite that are different every year for every team. Time! With 2 photographers, we average 30 to 40 athletes per hour for most teams. As soon as your athlete has been photographed, they are free to go to practice immediately. Coaches love that athletes are not missing a lot of practice for photos. EXAMPLE TRADITIONAL Traditional Team Photo: A traditional team photo is a classic group shot where the team members are lined up or posed together for the team photo. Excellent for yearbook photos and as extra add-on options for parents. Also great for season booklets that require quick deadlines for the season.

My athlete missed their team's photo session, will they still be included in the team composite photo? When you're able to schedule a make-up within 1 week of the original photo session date, we should be able to include your athlete in the team composite photo for all orders placed. If you are unable to schedule a make-up within the first week after the original photo session, we can still photograph your athlete. Our first priority is filling customer orders as efficiently as possible. Because we do not want to hold up orders and delay deliveries, we may deliver some orders without your athlete in the team photo. Having said that, they will be included in your team composite photo order and the orders that follow for the balance of the team.
-
My athlete missed their team's photo session, will they still be able to be photoshopped and included in the team traditional photo?Unless carefully planned and communicated with No Limits in advance and prior to the traditional team photo being taken, they will not be photoshopped into the traditional team photo.
-
My athlete missed their team's photo session, can we still get a photo taken?Yes! You can still have your athlete photographed. After we complete the initial photo session, we will have a count of everyone that needs to be photographed for a make-up to complete the team composite photo. We will offer a date(s) and time(s) for a makeup session at our studio in Hortonville, WI. We ask that all make-ups be completed within 1 week of the original photo session so we are not holding up orders. Due to the volume of athletes and teams we photograph, we try to schedule make-ups in groups and in the most efficient way possible. We will schedule individual make-up appointments if absolutely needed.
-
What is No Limit's Policy for a missed make-up session? The Makeup Appointment Policy is as follows... No Limits is happy to schedule a no cost, and in studio, makeup session if your athlete is unable to make their team's scheduled photo session for photos, posters, banners, portraits, signs, apparel, etc... We know things come up and we will always do our best to be flexible and accommodate. Because It takes time and resources to prepare the studio for makeup sessions, if your athlete misses their first scheduled makeup session and does not communicate a request for a reschedule 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment, the parent or athlete will be required to pay a $50 non-refundable retainer in order to schedule a second makeup session. Payment must be received in advance of the second makeup session; no exceptions. If your athlete is more than 15 minutes late, without communication regarding their circumstances, the makeup session is automatically canceled and they are considered a no-show for their appointment. With that, a $50 non- refundable retainer will also be required to complete or reschedule the make-up session.
-
When is the photo order deadline? Or, does the link expire for my athlete's team photo orders?Because we design, edit and print 98% of our photo products and 100% of our apparel products, we are able to leave order links open for an extended period of time. Most links are enabled for 11 months and are changed when the new seasons begin for each sport. If orders are placed late in the season or after the season is over, you may need to pick-up your order at our Hortonville location.
-
How long does it take to receive my photo order? We encourage parents to order within the first 5 days of their athlete's photo session so that we can deliver within 2-3 weeks. Some parents said they don't want to order, do you still need their photograph?Yes! There is no cost or obligation to order. Our goal is to celebrate all the players on your team(s) and within the team composite. With that, we ask that all of the athletes be photographed. In the beginning, we use to allow those athletes to skip photos. Inevitably, we would have a few parents change their mind and ask to order photos we did not take. Better safe than sorry!
